Ok, sometime tonight i'm going to compile and install the 2.3.42 kernel (going with the latest dev version because of the usb support, and i need that for my intellimouse). Now, I have a Diamond Monster II MX300 sound card (vortex2 chipset) and drivers were just released for it not long ago.
