Hi Steven, You are right that K3B can be installed directly with Mandrake 9.1 (I tried this but I don't check if it also supports Mandrake 9.2). You can go to its website and download the binary package. It works. You can also download another program X-CD-Roast. It's great. HTH, QingHua.

Hi, there Yesterday I tried to burn some photos to a cd. I seemed that everything's OK, but after the burning I couldn't access the cd. I used K3B 0.8.1 to create a data CD. The CD writer is a Toshiba one. (I have used it to burn MDK 9.1 into CDs with Window$ before but now I shift to MDK.)

You can go to the website of Acrobat and find there a version for Unix(Linux). This version works well. Sometime some special symbols can not be displayed correctly with xpdf, but they have no problems with Acrobat reader. HTH. Qinghua Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Go

Sorry, I forgot that. My computer is a Compaq presario 2815 (laptop) and my graphic card is a ATI mobility Raedon. The installer can detect it automatically with the right configuration. The installation is very fluent. I just simply follow the instructions of the wizard. Then everything is ok.
