If I press ctrl-f12 and I read there, it says that my network card has timed
out. I can't see the network either. What do you think is the problem

I have mandrake 7.1 installed. I am having
problems with my network accepting an IP from a DHCP server.
The Mandrake computer asks for an IP but refuses to
take the one sent as a DHCPOFFER from the server. If i set the IP manually
then I can't even ping another computer.
Help?
