kernel that support it but i don´t know how configure it.

i try to install the server X that supports framebuffer, so i do the
next steps:
firts install the kernel:
rpm -i kernel-fb*
rpm -i XFree86-FB*
rpm -i XFree-VGA16*
after, reconfogure /etc/lilo.conf, to can run the kernel.
i reboot ok.
i run Xconfigurator, as root of course,
and finally i

i have one idea try to do it:
loggin as root
in console mode, (no X Windows), type the follow command :
sndconfig
and it execute a program that config your soundcard (if it´s PNP)
