Hi List,
Okay, I have been watching the list for sound related questions and after
trying some of the answers I am still nowhere near making my sound work.
Here are the specifics:
Sound card= Creative Labs AWE64 16-bit Audio
Kernal Module= sb
Bus Type= ISA
I am using LM 7.2, and Harddrake finds and lists my card correctly. When I
run the configuration tool it opens a new window with this error: STOP
sox:Can't open output file '/dev/dsp: Device or resource busy.
The more I try, the more it repeats. I then just cancel out of it.
I tried opening a Terminal window and typing /user/sbin/sndconfig
to no avail. That says no file or directory exists. But I can see it in
Konqueror when I navigate to it.
Now I need help.
