who I also noticed that if I started an FTP in another app and then tried
to access a web page, NS would get no bandwidth until the file transfer was
done.
I guess Linux doesn't split the bandwidth?
As always, all help is appreciated ;)

am wondering if it is even possible to run 2 sound cards at once in Linux;
they both work fine together under Win98.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a US Robotics Sportster 56K + Voice internal modem which I cannot get
working. It is set up on COM2.
It is -not- a Winmodem.
I am wondering if anyone has any advice. I have tried addressing it as both
cua1 and ttyS1 without any success.
Thanks,

y uses a a new 128-bit chip, not the Mach64, so my be the
problem.
I thought the TNT drivers would work with my new video board, a TNT-2 based
Viper 770 Ultra, but they didn't. There is a beta SVGA server available
that seems to working fine, however.
