Hi All,
I'm trying to install Mandrake 9.1 for Apple PPC on a PPC 7600 604 12

mesh: double mda start
I'm doing a text install from CD
The installer doesn't recognize the CD by itself, I need to choose a
driver which is called
I'll start by stating that I'm a newly converted
Windows user. I know.. flame me if you must.

remember, I lived in the Windows world until about
a week ago...
I'm running Mandrake 9.0 on
I don't think I have Samba services or Webmin
installed. I'll run through the re-install and make
sure they are enabled...

Wait a minute, info. - You don't have to re-install
anything.
To find out if you have webmin installed, open a
console
and type *rpm -q webmin*. Likewise with samba.
If you don't have them, become root (su in a console)
and
just issue the command : *urpmi webmin*. Likewise
with
samba
the re-install and make
sure they are enabled...
