I was on Mandrake 7.1 , all icons on desktop suddenly missing, forgot what
I was doing, what I did was : K icon - Panel - Restart and I got the
icons back on desktop. HTH
I haven't been able to locate the init script you refer to. Could you suggest where I
might look?
