at first i thought i caused this as at one point i wrecked havock on my 7.1 system, but when i did a clean install of 7.1 this shutdown error reappeared from the very start. starting killall /etc/rcid/rc6.d/s00 killall: /etc/rcid/init.d/fontfs: no such file or dirctory so evidently it is looking for a file /etc/rcid/init.d/fontfs which does not exist. is this a bad thing? should i have this file? what must i do about this one. thanks again. yes, one more qustion coming but an OT one =) Adrian Smith 'de telepone dude Telecom Dept. x 7042 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
