At work I have been using a hosts file on a Win98 machine to effectively block ads. I tried this on MD8.2 using 127.0.0.3 (as recommended by a site that provided the hosts file) as the IP. The rationale was that since I'm running Apache, I needed to use an address other than 127.0.0.1. Well,
