Edit /etc/inittab and change the "id:3:initdefault" line to
"id:1:initdefault".
Then put the mp3 commands into a script in /etc/rc.d/rc1.d/.

I still not quite comprehend on which kind of device you intend to run
Linux and KDE, but anyway:
- there must be only one account ('root')
- this account must not have a password (just enter passwd and press
return twice)
