Thanx for the info. I downloaded the newest Kernel (2.2.19) and the make
xconfig worked, but when I try to boot my newly made kernel from GRUB I only
get a black screen and nothing more. Back to the drawing board I guess :-)

being one of them. Automake, autoconfig maybe. egc I think. update
modultils to the latest. Verify you have ppp 2.4.0. Anyway, check the
readme and it'll usually tell ya. make is on your cds and anything that
