dmesg tells me that
hda: dma_intr: status 0x51 {drive ready seekcomplete
error}
hda: dma_intr: error 0x84 {drive status error bad CRC}
It repeats each of these lines several times and then
follows with a line saying DMA on hda is shutdown.
I guess this means some kind of Direct Memory
Conflict. Can someone start me on my way to solving
the problem, please? Where do I look, etc. Running
Linux is no help on this one.
