My /etc/fstab says
/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/cdrom 0 0
This is from a clean installation of mdk7.2 (not an upgrade). As you can see,
it is no different to your line.

so when I booted with the new kernel, an init script disabled
supermount, removing the entries in /etc/fstab! And then like a dummy,
I went and removed the line for /mnt/cdrom from the file thinking
supermount would put it b
