Well, I'm almost happy with Mandrake again: voodoo problems minimized, lan up using iptables, cdburner & software working, and even my scanner now working (thanks, Joan). However, I'm still having trouble with my epson stylus color 777. It worked great with just about any of the stylus drivers in 7.2, however it is not functioning properly in 8.0 (cups). It prints, but really <read REEALLY> faint and takes like 15-20 minutes to print the test page. If I choose the ghostscript drivers, it prints many pages of code. (I also updated cups thru software manager - same thing). I have heard of others having the same problem. Anyone have any idea what might fix this? As always, would appreciate it immensely. -s
