[newbie] Gnome and Sawfish

Hi,

Just installed Mandrake 7.2. All went fairly well except one small
problem. If I log in as root I can run the Sawfish configure tool and
Gnome configure reports that sawfish is running. If I log in as a user
Gnome reports Sawfish isn't running and I can't bring up the configure
tool. I can still change decoration via right click on the title bar.
Any help appreciated!
