I have just purchased a Sony HMD-A200/L 17"(16" vis) display monitor.
I used drakconf to set it up. My current settings are 32 million
colors at 1024x768 @ 85hz. My video card is a Voodoo3 2000 PCI with
16MB of onboard video ram. I still get some flicker from the screen
like on my Compaq P50 but the image clarity is drastically better. What
I need to know is whether this minor flicker (that I didn't see in windoze)
can damage the monitor? Can I improve on the settings through another method?
