Hi Carlos, to restore LILO on a Mandrake 8.2 installation just put CD 1 in the drive and boot the machine to the CD. at the initial prompt where you would normally type expert to start an install type the word rescue. the cd will boot and take you to a menu that will allow you to restore LILO. thats all there is to it. -- daRcmaTTeR ---------- Registered Linux User #186492
