Pentium 166, 32 MB RAM, Adaptec 2940 controlling Seagate 4 GB HD & Plextor CDROM The install routine finds the Adaptec fine, but can't find the CDROM. Usually it just hangs at this point, evidently searching endlessly for the drive. Oddly, Debian has no difficulty with this. I have installed Debian with no problems. That's all the detail I have at this time. I would be glad to try again and take notes on exact screen messages. Tks n rgds, Rich
