Hi all, I got a 4GB IDE hd from a friend and decided to made it hdb and put 8.1's RC1 on it. Installation was flawless. I didn't choose to install a bootloader, opting instead to use a boot disk. But the boot disk won't boot to it (which I've tried on two separate installations). So I added it to LILO on hda. When it boots, it seems to hang when initiating SMB. So I did it interactively (which is SUCH a pain in Aurora--I wish I hadn't installed that), and got past it. So, having finally booted, I turned off Aurora, but it _wasn't_ turned off next time I booted. And the biggest problem--I can't get networking to work. Might this be related to installing on hdb?
