Here is my problem as best I can define it. Running Mandrake Linux 8.2 Pro Suite Connected to a Linksys BEFR41 4 port router with a NAT firewall, DHCP Server (Running) When set up everything was fine and I could get to the internet. However, I was not able to log onto the local net and could not open a port on my router to the machine so that people could come in.
I don't really understand the networks on Linux. How can I hook to the intranet and the internet through the Linksys Router? Help would be appreciated. John ------- Sender: John P.
