I have newly installed Linux-Mandrake 7.2
My internet connection is successful, and I can browse using Konqueror.
I can also send mail using KMail but i can not read the mail on the server
at all.
I really want to aviod using Netscape if at all possible - it's the only browser
that i prefer IE
If you have a pop3 account like with MSN or whoever, then yes pop3. Host
name is the pop address like: pop3.email.msn.com, and port is almost always
110. To recieve, yes SMTP, again host: smtp.email.msn.com, and port is

I have logged on to the net but when I try and use kmail to check/retrieve
my email nothing happens. There's definitely mail on the server waiting!
I have added an incoming account. I presumed the correct type to add was
"pop3" rather than "local mailbox". Then I
