[newbie] LS120 MB floppy

I need some help here. Linux will not mount my floppy. This is a new one . I had 120MB floppy drive before and it got damaged, it was working fine before I stupidly damaged the head. I got a new and installed it. When linux is booting it seem to recognize the drive. However, when I put a floppy

Patricktype dmesg in a console window and then look for a line in the output like the one below: hda: LS-120 CSMO 05 UHD Floppy, ATAPI FLOPPY drive My LS-120, in the above, is identified as hda (that's because it's the master device on the primary IDE controller). Yours may be something
