[newbie] Manadrake 7.1 Full Install No Windows 95 Partition

Hello:-( 

 I can ping the new Linux Machine 127.0.0.1  but unable to get the machine to see the 
rest of my network

192.9.100.XXX 

192.9.100.1 - Main file and print server
192.9.100.3 - Main 
I have ticked Dhcp still no joy
