Presently, I have a server with Mandrake 6.0 loaded on it and am going to upgrade to 7.1. Do I have to do a complete reload or does 7.1 have an upgrade option? If it does, will it also upgrade my Apache server, PHP, and PostgreSQL? Last question, I want to back up the hard drives on this unit to a SCSI 8mm tape drive. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the tar command to go more than one tape. The total backup of the drive will probably take 3 tapes.
