[newbie] Need help setting up/install new Mandrake 6.1

Hello, I got an opportunity to attend the Linux installation workshop at Atlanta Linux Show. It was great. It was so easy to setup the non-commercial Red Hat there. I bought the cheap CD-Rom of Mandrake 6.1 and try to install it on my home computer. I partitioned my hard drive with
