Actually, you can probably get by with 10BT unless you plan to build a mini-Beowulf. The hubs are all pretty good, and it would be nice if you had 8 lines plus an uplink or a BNC connector. If you want to spend money liberally, find the best CAT 5 cables you can buy and get a new hub if ever you

[newbie] Network Hub Question

I just came across a few extra computers (2 Macs and 3-486's and I'm putting linux on every one). My question is what properties in a hub should I be looking for so that I can network them all. I know I want 10/100BT autosensing, but what else should I be looking for? Thanks for any help. Pete
