Eww! I just installed it, and it detected it great,
but
the sound is all distorted, TERRIBLE! yuck.
How would I go about fixing this?
I have the output connected to a small amplifier,
is this not right?
Or is the output for speakers only with no apm?

Ok it is called AC'97 2.1 CODEC
It claims to be compatible with soundblaster pro
but I don't know whether to believe that or not.

I had to download a driver for that under RH, but on MDK it worked quite
right on one of

It works with Crystal - but it would depend on your chipset - what is
