Has anyone got a USB cd writer working on Mandrake 8.2?
I remember someone saying that they didn't, but I can't find the
message in the archives.

A friend of me has one connected via USB1 (it's USB2, USB1 compatible) to his
laptop. Mandrake 8.2 has recognized it with no problems at all.
