What version of XFree do you have? You need one from the 4.x series. Try version 4.0.3 (standard with Mandrake 8) or 4.1.0 (the latest). You can find your version by typing X -version at a command line. Also, have a look around http://www.xfree86.org. Maybe you'll find something there.
