Hi all,
I have just put samba 2.2.1a on my 7.2 box, and for all intents and purposes
it appears to be working great..
I have a win2000 pro box on the same network (LAPTOP)... and the linux box
(zues) is showing up in "my network places"
problem is, I can't get into it,,
when I try, no password matches, I have setup several uses and passwords and
none will get me access..
each time I get another "password failed or user unknown" message.
I have got Samba setup to use encrypted passwords (as win2000 does) and
created several shares, and gave my username access to all of them...
still I can't get in,,
I am a complete newbie with samba but have been using linux for several
years.
