Hello
I have a Toshiba Satellite 205CDS. When I installed MD 7, it automatically
set my display at 640x480. I went into XF86Config set the entire file to a
setting I got when I had RedHat 5.2 (which worked) and allowed an 800x600
screen. When I reboot, it never gets to the X login screen (I set my
system to boot straight to X) and when I try to "startx" from the command
line, it says it is already running...yet I can't find one terminal that
has it. I also can't find a way to reconfigure XF86Config in the
command line (for some reason, although I did a custom normal install, I
don't have any simple editors [joe, jed, pico and the like)...Can anyone
help? I have had to reinstall MD 7 5 times now trying to configure this
display problem...and it is REALLY hard to see 640x480 on an 11.5" screen.

Thanx
Dave
