I have tried a number of ways to get SO 5.2 to recognize JRE 1.1.8 which I currently use with Moneydance. My 'javarc file currently looks like this: [Install] ExcludeVersion= AdditionalClasspath=<OFFICE_CLASSDIR>/classes.jar:<OFFICE_CLASSDIR>/tkt.jar: <OFFICE_CLASSDIR>/sandbox.jar:<OFFICE_CLASSDIR>/unoil.jar: <OFFICE_CLASSDIR>/jurt.jar:<OFFICE_CLASSDIR>pgp.jar: <OFFICE_CLASSDIR?/swingall.jar VerfiedVersion=1.1.8 RequiredVersion=1.17 InstallationPath= [Java] Java=0 JavaScript=0 Applets=0 The Classpath statements are all one line. I tried putting the path for 1.1.8 here and I have pointed to it under Java Setup in Book Marks. When neither of these worked, I downloaded JRE 1.1.7 and installed it. Then tried the same game plan. Point to it under setup, not go. Put the path in the javarc file and point to it again in setup, still no go. The current path for 1.1.7 is: /usr/jre117_v3/bin/i586/green_threads/jre Can someone help me on this? Thank you. -- Barry :-) Registered Linux User #183879
