I am running Mandrake 7.1 and KDE. I noticed that even though my modem
connects at 115,000 and email is down and uploaded fairly fast, Netscape (I
am not ready to use a text browser) seems to take forever to bring pages
OK, I finally got a working connection to my ISP. But its very slow, not so
much on netscape, but when I download mail (using either kmail or netscape
mail).
What could it be?

I Wanted to know how to fix this? I have temp. installed OpenLinux 2.3
(From Mandrake 7.0) and tried some diff. settings for network in original
setup, so know, im writing this from LiNuX! However, this is a very slow
internet connection (for a 56k)! I'm getting at tops around
