does anybody know how to uninstall Netscape (The tar.gz-one that is) I am trying to
find info on the issue, but I cannot find anything anywhere, I am starting to get
agitated towards Netscape ;o)

If it's a tar ball install you cannot.

I downloaded Netscape 6.2 to ML 8.1 and installed it under the mistaken
assumption that it would replace Netscape 4.7.
Not only is 4.7 still in the system, but it is the only Netscape
recognized when I open an HTML file.
I would like to uninstall 4.7 and have 6.2 recognized. Can anyone help?

, have quite alot trouble with it ... I am about to install 7.2 ...but not sure
how to Uninstall this .. is there any uninstall feature or I have to delete the
folder manually ..That brings up another question is I don't know which folder
to delete.
