Hi all,

About a month ago my machine locked up bigtime. It just stopped responding,
and I could not find out what had happened. Just that a tremendous amount of
processes were running under root. Loads of shells, vi's and crond's. I
could only think "huh????" and press ctrl-alt-del (which then locked up
everything, leaving RESET as last resort).

Now I found out what was the problem.

Never, but I mean NEVER, put something stupid in root crontab like

55 11 * * * crontab -e > /backup/crontab.root

crontab -l is much smarter...  Urgggg.... Hurray for typos...
