Hi all, Just installed afresh on my laptop and have a problem i've never come across before - can someone help. If i boot to run level 3, log in and start X all comes up no problem. If i boot to run level 5 and log in i get the failsafe environment (ie a single xterm only) regardless of whichever environment i selected. I tried running the switchdesk utility but it made no different whatsoever. Thanks for any help. Martin.
