Hi everyone, I continue with my Linux quest. Today I have this problem: After installing Linux when the system finally boots and the XWindows starts, I enter the system using my root access or my user password. After that the X cursor appears and the system began to work endless without ever showing the desktop. I install the KDE only. Do I need to install my system again? I install the nerworked station option but when the system asks me for my NIC (which is a generic NE2000 and works perfectly in W95), Linux seems to not found it (and I know the correct IRQ and ADDR). My system is: 1 AMD 5x86 (AMI BIOS) 16 MB memory 2 seagate IDE hard disk (Drive C with an W95 partition:600, and Linux:476 and Swap partition:128) 16 bit ISA NIC (DLink Systems DE-230 Series Card (IRQ:5, ADDR:340) Hope you can help me, Thanks, Lorenzo Jimenez [EMAIL PROTECTED]
