I get hash marks periodically in an otherwise nice display running my SVGA 56 hz 800x600 16 bit color on an Intel 815 video set up (my actual chip, not listed explicitly is Intel 82815 graphics controller)
Although I can get rid of the hash marks with a 640x480 display setting, that's not what I want to be looking at 6 hrs. a day. Here's the question. What can you tweek to get rid of the hash marks without sacrificing 800x600 resolution? Can you change the hsync or vertical settings in the XF86Config file, or something? Thanks for any help.
