it were possible to use any disc 1 with any edition,
then the download edition would also
that is what i actually did when i say i already used files from the other
disks. works fine. still, i may have to find a way to replace that disk 1
in case i need to reinstall
...hell who am i kidding i won't even _reboot_ before i decide to update to
another version. ah linux.
