Ok, Just so everyone knows, I have tried sending this message about 400 times, so IF it goes through please answer it! =) 1st) Has anyone ever tried the emulator off of www.vmware.com? I guess it lets you run any other OS from INSIDE linux.. If you have let me know, because I am interested.. 2) I have a Adaptec 1520b SCSI (with SCSI bios turned off) in my system. When I install Mandrake 5.3 it askes me if I have any SCSI adapters, which I answer yes, pick Adaptec 152X, then autoprobe. It does not find it. So my question is, WHY? Or what am I doing wrong? The only thing on that SCSI card is my CDR, which I dont really need in linux, but if I want to replace windows, I want everything to work. =) (btw, windows finds the card easily) =( thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bill Swearingen Kansas State University -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= "Microsoft announced today that, due to technical difficulties, the launch of Windows 2000 will be delayed until the first quarter of 1901." -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
