Hello, I am currently running Mnadrake 7.1 and I'm thinking about trying a
network install. I've never done a network install but I have an ftp server on
my Windows machine already and thought I should actually use it for something.
I cant find it documented anywhere that this is possible though. I found the
network.img to put on a floppy but I'm just curious if there are alot of
differences and maybe things I need to look out for. A few things that come to
mind is how should I set the file system up my Windows hd? would I just copy
the Mandrake direcory since it has the rpms or go with the whole Cooker
directory? If anyone has done a network install like this or knows of a good
tutorial please let me know.
