This is Kit of Kompukit...I'm on windows 98...right now. due to I can't log onto to my ISP...and/or retrieve my mail for some odd reason...and I can't figure it out. I went into my "host.allow" file...and my "hosts" file and inserted my new domain name (even though it is not activated yet)...I also put in the static IP for it... and then changed my machine name from what it used to be: (kompukit.dyndns.org) to : (kompukit.com) then I went into webmin and changed all the sendmail aliases and majordomo info...to correlate to my new domain... I was able to log onto my ISP after that,for at least two days...and retrieve my mail. But last night, I could no longer log onto my ISP...or get my mail. I called the ISP...and they said everything is OK on their end...and he suggested that I log onto mailstart.com to get my mail.... whats even more odd...is that I even had trouble logging onto ISP from windows, until just now. and still (using netscape) can NOT get my mail....can someone email me right back...and give me some input...suggestions....right away...please...thanks ----- Sent using MailStart.com ( http://MailStart.Com/welcome.html ) The FREE way to access your mailbox via any web browser, anywhere!
