calm grasshopper. the ways of digital imaging are complex and make little sense. one must just push buttons until "it" happens. ok.... what do you mean by "make an image transparent"? do you mean a transparent background behind an image, or do you mean the image it's self is transparent and can be seen thru? also, are you trying to save this image as a file with a transpartent background (like graphics one sees on a web site where the background is transparent)? if this is the case, you have to save it in GIF format. if this doesn't help, give me some more information.
