Greetings All, I'm using Mandrake 10.1 community release. GCC 3.4.1-4mdk When I endeavor to compile some files it aborts with:
checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... /lib/cpp configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check I also seem to be stuck with gcc3.4.1-4mdk because when I try to remove it I get a very scary message indicating that numerous major programs require it. Trying to install a different version of gcc results in an error message regarding conflicts in dependant files. Any help would be appreciated.
