GATES: "QUAKE JUST A SAMPLE OF OUR POWER" In a warning to the US Government, Microsoft demonstrated their power by launching a major earthquake in Seattle. Bill Gates issued a statement from the Microsoft "Campus". "The time for talk is over. We will not be broken apart. We have demonstrated our power. We will not hesitate to use it again. Heed our warning. We have spoken." President George W. Bush responded from the White House, "Gosh. I don't know about this. Ask Dick." Computer experts dismiss Microsoft's warning. "Naw, it was just a demo. Microsoft does these great demos, but until they get to about release 3.0 the programs won't work. They'll just keep crashing. I mean, you might be able to break a few windows, but to take on Washington you'll need to be able to drop the Lincoln Memorial all the way to the molten center of the earth."
