I finally was able to have my modem detected when i setup a session using KPPP. Under window my setup was com3 with an irq 10 at address 0x3e8. Using the command: setserial -a /dev/cua0, 1 2 and 3 i was able to find that cua2 had the same address. I then type setserial /dev/cua2 irq 10. I then
