As root, from a terminal window:
# rmmod module name
To see the currently loaded modules:
# lsmod
For more info:
# man rmmod

No modprobe changes even.
I run an 10.1C.

rivafb is not loaded if you don't have the card, you are just getting a
warning that if you do
