i found a prog called kfontinst that gave a dialogue in kcontrol to install
fonts, having found the helvetica fonts i wanted in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/mdk i
installed these into all of the directories offered by font installer - to be
on the safe side, but to no avail, kde apps still don't see these fonts, non
kde apps however are now using huge fonts, the dialogues for everybuddy and
xmms are huge, i can't however find any config files that specify the fonts
for these dialogues can someone help, me out? in previous versions of lm i
seems to remember a file called something like .gtkrc in ~/ which would
affect all apps using gtk. e.g. gnapster; i don't know what xmms and
everybuffy use but i guess there must be a similar file somewhere but i can't
find it
