i recently recieved a 90mhz dual processor ibm server 320. my plan was to install mandrake and use it as a low end print server. but i am having no luck installing linux on the machine. i have a scsi cdrom and hard drive and a ide hard drive. mandrake installation will crash while looking for the cdrom. caldera installation will crash looking for the hard drive, when it goes to copy the files, although it let's me partition the drive. red hat 6.0 installs perfectly but errors on installing lilo and also will error on making a boot disk during setup. does anyone know of any problems with a pc server 320 and linux. or are any hard drives/cdroms not compatable with linux. any ideas would be apreciated.
